Many signs point to the Apple and AT&T agreement that makes the latter the exclusive carrier of the iPhone within the US coming to an end within the next year.
For starters, non-exclusivity has beenprofitable for Applein other parts of the world. Moreover, even AT&T’s CEOacknowledgesthe deal won’t last forever.
And while Verizon might be all about showing off whatDroid doesright now, a new report suggests it could become the first carrier other than AT&T to offer iPhone on American soil, starting in the second half of 2010.
