Richard Osterude and Harris Fellman are a couple of geniuses (genii?) who come up with simple solutions that many corporations are charging thousands for.

One of these was the Peel Away Ads that took the web by storm. I was lucky to be one of the first to get this product and it literally did exactly what it was supposed to do – place a little corner that looks like it is peeling back from the website, and when you move your mouse over it, the peelaway opens up even more and shows you the top corner of a hidden website, and when you click on it, it opens up to whatever page you are advertising.
It is a great concept, although way overused in the IM niche!

Now Harris and Richard have come up with Corner Stay Ads (name is funky but the ads are awesome)! These are a small picture that can be on any of the corners and they stay there when you scroll down. They can be a picture of a girl with money in her hands and the word click here above her heads, or you can make it a picture of your ebook cover… but when you mouse over the picture a quarter page size ad opens up with more information, and a link to click to go to the site that the ad talks about.
This is impressive, because your little picture is unobtrusive, and when you move your mouse away from the ad, it disappears, so it does not clutter up your website. It is a simple, but effective way to get more traffic to your product website or squeeze page from multiple sites! You can even set it up on other people’s websites (all they have to do is place three files in the same directory as the page that the ad will be displayed on and add some code to the bottom of the page) so that you can cross advertise with other JV partners in your niche.
I am going to be working with Harris and Richard to figure out how to get it to work on my blog (since the files are not in the same directory as regular websites) and I will be creating a How To Manual for people who buy using my link. I highly recommend Corner Stay Ads!
